Dear brother djohnson,
I found this information in the Archives section of "that other forum". It was posted on 06-23-2005 by dear brother Bruce:
Does Herald Hsu have any insight on the relationship between Simon Meek, Faithful Luke, Stephen Kaung, and Witness Lee?
Mr. Smith,
Until 1959, Simon Meek, Faithful Luke, Stephen Kaung and Witness Lee were Watchman Nee's co-workers, and all held unto the "church ground"(one city one church), and had fellowship together. Meek, Luke, Kaung respected Witness Lee as an elder brother, but did not hold him as their leader. After the 1961 Manila church split, Meek and Luke continued to work together. But Kaung did not agree with Simon Meek's position, and stood with Witness Lee. After few years, Stephen Kaung and Witness Lee moved to NY, but a while later (two or three years), Witness Lee and his co-workers drove Kaung out from the church in NY; Kaung went to Washington D.C. and then moved to Richmond Virginia.
