Good post, jesusislord.

The Bible commends the noble Bereans who examined Scripture to see if what was being taught was in line with Scripture.

Believers are told to watch out for wolves and test every spirit.

But Nee and Lee tell us "don't read anything else, just trust us, we've done all the work for you".

This is like "you don't have to work out your own salvation.....you don't have to wrestle with your personal relationship with God, just follow us and what we say, you'll be fine!"

Sorry, LSMers, I'd rather go with what the Bible says, thanks!

Subscribe to lsm isn't like you have pick certain books from nee. It's like dropping the entire resource of Christianity. You live according to what's been taught by nee and lee only. You hardly can fellowship with someone who's not of the Lord recovery group. You hardly can appreciate other authors. You hardly can marry with someone from baptist, Anglican, Lutheran etc unless they're agree and are willing to accept lc teaching which is so different than the majority, so exclusive and 'special', it's scary.
LC is definitely selective and exclusive in what writings they accept, especially among more current writers! This is such a grievous mistake. It totally presupposes that what's in The Recovery is truly the only thing the Lord is doing - utter folly. This inherently promotes elitism and division from other blood-bought believers. Things are so sad with Laodicea . . .

And if believing we are a tripartite being - body, soul & spirit - makes one a Christian mystic, then count me as one.

Worth to split with lc's doctrine

I've observed doctrine of other protestant group and lc's and found that we split because of few major differences like ground of the church and mystic influnce of nee and lee teaching.

I ask myself whether these teaching worth splitting the denomination to join nee's group. Seriously too much dogma by nee that convince Christian to either reject or follow him.
