What is it with New Zealand that there is so much 'Local Church' there?
Interesting how he unpacks the process's of deliberate deception and withholding of critical information involved in the recruiting efforts. Training a person to behave in such a deceptive way has to be bad for anyones mental health, anxiety producing. Taking this training of using manipulative, deceptive 'tools' and applying them elsewhere in life, seems an inevitable further corrupting influence this behavior generates in its followers. I did see that happening in the people I knew when I was involved.
