Re: POLL: What is the Greatest Error of WL & LC?

Re: 2 Months Out Of The Local Church And Feeling Guilty

I can relate. It is from meeting with a Baptist congregation in 2008, I realized just as the Baptists are a denomination, so are the local churches.
The view among the Baptist congregation is...

Re: To Keep or not to Keep (Teachings)

Sons to Glory, I liked that book too. True, the thoughts expressed in the book no longer embodies LC practices.
The word "vision" in the local churches seems to have different meanings depending on...

I am along the same lines as Trapped. Brothers like Nigel Tomes are unique. Who has the time.
To answer the question, "does anyone still care?", I don't know the number, but many still care. We've...

Re: 45 California Churches - Open Letter (with signatures)

P.S., this occurred during a period I was not meeting with the local churches (late 1986 to mid 1993). I cannot tell you how disgusted I was by this letter. Not to mention brothers I knew personally...

Re: The Subtle Power of Spiritual Abuse, Johnson & VanVonderen

I'm sure most elders are fathers to their sons and daughters?
I'm sure these LC elders were not so irresponsible as fathers they did not lose sense of right and wrong in teaching their own children?...

Who else? Don Hardy and Christian Chen come to mind.
What is the real story with the “sisters rebellion”? It seems Sandi was dealt with publicly in Max's absence?

There's more to be said,
1. On the point "They say that Jews are God's people" - I agree.
2. On the point "we have to unconditionally support the modern day State of Israel" - I disagree. Something...
