P.S. this project has been invaluable. The Hong Kong declaration places what transpired in a different perspective. Until the declaration, I don't think many were aware in detail what had happened. Only that Joseph Fung, John Ingalls, Bill Mallon, and John So were quarantined as an imaginary global conspiracy.
The LSM co-workers who may have been young elders, deacons, responsible ones at that time (1989) acted quite irresponsibly. As I have been learning in my own searching, Witness Lee was the narcissist and they were his "flying monkees". Some of whom have become the "narcissist". I wonder though regarding Gene Gruhler and Dan Towle, were they discarded because they could no longer be trusted? That's been my thought. I should say I have nothing against Gene. When I was in my teens, I respected his speaking publicly and privately. Dan, I never knew.
What happened in Hong Kong and also in Rosemead requires closer examination. It's all making sense now more than ever.
