I can tell you why I believed Noah was right here.
I was convinced (
prolly w/o ever really studying the story) that Noah cursed his son Ham (
not true!), who then became dark-skinned and would then "serve" his brother, thus justifying the black race and slave ownership.
Sorry, but that's how I was taught the story.
