Very true. More than looking past differences, accepting as believers we do have our differences.
Having seen it in LC meetings, looking past differences or accepting differences is looked down upon as "shaking hands over the fence". That's their spin, but really for non-LC Christians is keeping non-essential items of faith non-essential and striving to keep the oneness we all have in Christ.
