I also agree with him but he doesn't say that Jesus Christ is the Holy Spirit and God the Father.
Blessed Theophylactus speaks about deity of Christ who is fully man and fully God ie the Word of God, Logos.

Then the first salvation is not salvation at all since it doesn't save completely. It is neither union with God nor the deliverance from sin and its consequences.
