Were either Ron or Kerry part of the Church in Anaheim during the events John writes concerning? Not just passing through on occasion, but a regular part of that church?

I'm inclined to say no for Kerry. He was in Houston where ZNPaaneah was during that time. Plus the book was published in Texas and not California. Ron, I am very certain was in Anaheim.

I would be interested to know if he was actually part of the series of meetings in which the various issues arose, or was like many in Irving at the time, mainly engaged in other things — like the LSM.

I tend to believe Ron wasn't involved in fellowship regarding various issues. At least Speaking the Truth In Love doesn't give any indication he was involved to my knowledge. Had Ron been involved with the fellowship that Orange County elders were, he would have seen and testified the issues being brought forward were being stonewalled. |

I note that the preface of the book states that the authors do not live in Anaheim, but that since the book has been published and distributed beyond Anaheim, they consider it a "Body matter" that concerns them.
I should note that it IS a body matter. And it concerns me too. It concerns me that such a series of events should happen within Christian organizations, that the exposure of such events should receive such pushback, and that two books — The Fermentation of the Present Rebellion and A Response to Recent Accusation — would be written to smear the righteous determination by those mired in the events that it was both true and worthy of exposure. If ever there was evidence of the unscriptural claims of Nee's book Spiritual Authority (aka Authority and Submission) is not worthy to have wasted the paper and ink on which it was written, this is it. Nee claimed that a deputy authority could not be charged for mere sins, but only for rebellion against God. This stands in total opposition to the clear Word that states that any person of authority should be openly condemned. If there is a serpent in any writings, it is in the very basic ground of the authority that Nee, Lee, and their underlings like Kangas and Robichaux claim to push back and openly lie to the flock that they have been charged to tend (or have usurped the charge to tend).

I have been meeting in various churches for more than 40 years, and I have listened and I have observed many of the blended brothers speaking and ministering the Spirit from brother Watchman Nee and Witness Lee's teachings. I have also seen many ambitious brothers that wanted to write their own things and "be noticed" for their portion of ministry. If Minoru, Ron, and other brothers wanted to make a name for themselves they could go elsewhere and have a bigger following and make more $$$$ for themselves and drive a luxury car instead of of a plain Toyota. Truth is that the blended brothers are taking the cross, get no name for themselves, live in small houses and make no enormous amounts of money. Why do you think they choose to live this lifestyle? Witness Lee lived in a one story flat roof house in the wonderful city of Anaheim. Looks like many opposers are the ones blinded by pride.

Hey Unregistered,
Welcome to LocalChurchDiscussions.Com Please consider registering for membership. If you had spend as much time looking into publicly available real estate records as you did bloviating on our little forum, you would have discovered that Minoru Chen is a multi-millionaire who owns MILLIONS of $ of property in Orange County Ca, including the ultra-exclusive Corona Del Mar area. These are just two of the properties that he owns in his name. There is little doubt that Chen owns several other homes/rental properties in Southern California. - #1 - 232 Poinsettia Corona Del Mar CA. Zillow estimate about 5 MILLION $. ~ #2 - 6 Hope Irvine CA - Zillow estimate is about 2.5 MILLION $ And as far as Witness Lee's sordid record of financial malfeasance....you REALLY don't want to go there, do you? ~
