Hi thank you for your response, (and everyone's responses!)
My friend decided to throw out the Bibles, which is fully in her right.
It would be cool to keep in touch. (Since you are unregistered, I think you need to make an account to send private messages.) And yes, I fully agree that it is not us vs. them. I appreciate the good stuff that I experienced, and I will treasure all the wonderful relationships I have made. I hope to keep the healthy ones who understand and do not judge my decisions.

True, it's not us versus them. Though we know it gets treated as such.
My time spent in the local churches, I cherish my childhood far more than the adult years. By then the curtain has been pulled back.
Those of us with parents, relatives, family friends meeting with the local churches is not always easy to navigate in communicating.
