My reply was that coal is good for America's working class (e.g. WV and KY,) and does not serve Trump in any way. The coal industry (led by notably Dem. Senator Manchin of WV) felt betrayed by Obama and Clinton, and felt Trump was their advocate.

But for typical coastline Liberals, these coal people are stupid "demagogues" who drink Kool-Aid. Your statement here is so indicative of the Proud Progressive Left with its arrogant condescending attitudes towards the working class. That's why Trump won.

As long as the Left keeps these arrogant attitudes, they will continue to spiral into obscurity.
