I’m sure we’re on the same page.
Adding to her post was not to antagonize, but to demonstrate what I was talking about. If I tried to tell someone that I could edit THEIR post, I would have sounded crazy. I thought I was going crazy myself when I saw the "edit" button show up for me on Love's post. Editing it was the only way I could see to demonstrate for her exactly what weird thing I'd stumbled across. Maybe that was the wrong way to go about it, but it's all I could come up with to show effectively. I totally agree it's her decision. I was only trying to give her all the information that would factor into that decision. It's pretty weird to be able to edit other people's posts!

I'm totally on the same page with you as far as trying to protect the new younger sisters here. I have written and re-written and then deleted so many posts where I'm yelling at everyone doing the mistreating I feel like it's all I've done all day today. I still don't get what's gotten into people the past few days. I'm pretty ashamed of much of what I've read "up there".

Hmm...I can't anymore either. Maybe UntoHim saw us talking about the glitch and edited things on the back end to fix it. Hopefully so!

So you guys suddenly had an "Edit" button appear on the bottom right next to the "Quote" button? That's interesting! If I were you guys I would have immediately edited out all that stuff that UntoHim posts that you don't like! How cool would that be!

Happy Thanksgiving ya'll.

I'm not feeling up to par today. But I had to present this :
Two Trump-appointed judges on the 11th Circuit recently made a pro-conversion-therapy ruling. In the first of a two-part series, LGBTQ survivors of the practice tell their stories.

On Nov. 20, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals struck down bans on juvenile gay conversion therapy in South Florida. The majority votes in the 2-1 decision came from two Trump-appointed judges, who argued that the therapists’ practicing this mode of therapy—resoundingly condemned by every professional body in the field—were having their freedom of speech violated by being banned from practicing.

I find this appalling, harmful, and abusive.

This wont work at all, just up the suicide rates. Good job, America. On top of the pandemic, you have lgbtq killing themselves. I had a client who was gay, told me his Christian parents sent him to gay conversion therapy when he was sox years old. His therapist asked him insensitive questions like, “why do you like knitting so much”? (His grandmother taught him to knit) “why do you not like the violent games that the other boys are playing?” His response- “It’s not my nature to be violent; I like playing with the girls more, they’re kinder and more creative”. He remembered the exact questions the thp asked him- most of us dont remember therapy sessions when we’re six. This was a traumatic experience and burned into his psyche.
