Covert, I know it seems that we are picking on you. We are not. And what we say is not for the purpose of demeaning you or driving you away. I think some of your ideas are worthy of discussion. But at something less than “everything including the kitchen sink” all at once. It would be better to deal with a short homily than a full hour-long sermon that goes all over the place. Almost forgot on my thoughts on deciding what to talk about in my threads. The format with my threads centers around having very similarly related subtopics on one big thread. If I were to make a separate thread for every one of my subtopics, I would probably fill the forums a bit more than comfort for the most part. As of this thread, just pick and chose and go with the flow. If you want to talk about LC history such as Bill Malon, talk about that, never knew the man but feel terrible he had to go through that. If you have examples of Lee blatantly contradicting scripture for his own regard, please comment on that. If you want to expand on the practices of the church life that go against the teachings of the bible, then feel free to do so. I mean just pick and chose brother, whatever you want to expand on. It is a big post, meant to make a big thread that talks about a lot of things. I will say this though, you are very eloquent and your English prose is pleasant to look at. You lived many years and you definitely gained some wisdom from the lord, as seen in your writing. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom correct? Pushing past all of this, it is clear my intelligent and poetic brother, that sloppy me and neatly you, both type a bit more than peoples comfort

Nonetheless, OBW, you are a valuable brother to the forums. I will definitely consider your advice and all others when making future post!
