Why? Do you think Trump is reading Alt Views? He said "Department of Environmental Protection. We are going to get rid of it in almost every form. We’re going to have little tidbits left, but we’re going to take a tremendous amount out."

Off the top of my head I suggest that people who care about the environment need to continue to protest his actions, organize, elect people who care about the environment to Congress at the mid-term election and vote him out of office in 2020. Meanwhile, citizens who care about the environment must encourage elected officials to oppose his assault on environmental protections in every way they can. And, I'm open to better ideas if anybody has any.
