Jesus came from a place that was considered a ****hole. Should Jesus be rejected because of that? No, and neither should the immigrant or refugee.

Jesus asks us to welcome the stranger.

Matthew 25:35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;

Even the Old Testament asks us to care for the stranger.

Exodus 22:21 “You shall neither mistreat a stranger nor oppress him, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.

This is a pointed message to us in America, a nation of immigrants.
